twX, LLC is proud to introduce it’s miniature x-ray source utilizing unique field control technology. This patented technology allows for higher voltage operation and increased stability in smaller packages. twX is currently manufacturing 40 kiloVolt tubes with Gold or Silver targets to match specific applications. The entire system (tube, high voltage generator and control electronics) is no bigger than a paperback book, making it an ideal solution for mobile analysis systems. The system features a remote x-ray head that enables the positioning of the tube in geometries previously unattainable with traditional larger x-ray tubes.
