The twX x-ray source is designed to operate from 10 to 40 kilovolts utilizing fiber optic technology. The unit’s small size makes it ideally suited for the replacement of radioactive isotopes. The system electronics are small, lightweight and power efficient for use in a variety of mobile and in-situ applications. The system utilizes a transmission target with a grounded anode to accommodate extremely tight geometries. Targets are available in either silver or gold and the unit is set up to accept user defined external filtration and collimation to tailor output for specific applications. |
